About Allyse
Allyse was born in Orem, Utah, while her parents, Tom and Becky Smith, were attending Brigham Young University. Soon afterward her family moved to southern California, where Allyse grew up. Allyse is the oldest of eight children. Her parents have always encouraged her to use her musical talents to uplift and inspire others. She is so grateful for their support, example, and love.

In August of 2006, Allyse had the opportunity to sing for internationally acclaimed pianist, Marvin Goldstein, at Brigham Young University. From that initial meeting, Marvin and Allyse decided to collaborate on a sacred album. Songs were carefully chosen with music and vocals arranged to invoke peace. This past year, Marvin and Allyse have performed in a few concerts together across the United States which has included a variety of Jazz, Broadway, and Popular Classics. Marvin's recordings and sheet music can be found at marvingoldstein.com

In 2008, Sally DeFord and Allyse started recording Sally's beautiful and inspiring music. Allyse loves it when Sally starts the conversation with, "So, I was thinking...". Sally has featured Allyse on two albums and they are working on a third. Sally's music can be found at defordmusic.com.

Allyse and Spencer Taylor were married in 2007. They have four children and happily reside in South Jordan, Utah.
